“Skin graft” 2020.
Applied grafts growing into multicoloured entrails— merging, transforming and mutating. When thinking of the theme of farce I thought of the use of masks in theatre throughout history as an integral part of the performative act. I was intrigued by the relation of codependency and tension between the mask and the “farce” that it is masking.
