I tried to think about what instinctively came to me, the first thing was that in a dark comical way, we are living through a farce. Acting in the most unnatural, almost silly ways- we avoid each other widely on the street, don’t touch all the faces familiar to us and of course we wear masks.
I started drawing and then I ripped them all up and then when I got really frustrated by it, I just threw it all down and thought ‘Hey, that’s it, I like that.’
